Devotional 264: Methuselah—God’s Longsuffering

Genesis 5:25–27; 2 Peter 3:9; Isaiah 30:18; Romans 2:4

Methuselah lived 969 years, the longest recorded lifespan. His name means “when he dies, it will come,” referring to the coming flood. His long life was a testimony of God’s patience before judgment.
