Enoch stood out: “Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.” Unlike others, his life did not end with “and he died.” He was translated by faith.
Experiencing Christ Commentary highlights that to walk with God is to live in continuous fellowship with Him.
Enoch pleased God by faith and became a prophetic witness of God’s coming judgment (Jude 14–15). He prefigures the raptured saints who will escape death at Christ’s coming.
