John 10:9; KJV
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Psalm 23:2-3; KJV
[2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Hebrews 10:19-20, TPT
[19] And now we are brothers and sisters in God’s family because of the blood of Jesus, and he welcomes us to come into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realm—boldly and without hesitation. [20] For he has dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus’ body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him!
Jesus declares in John 10:9, “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved and shall go in and go out and shall find pasture.” Christ is the door, the unique way to salvation, and the access point to spiritual nourishment and rest.
I teach and always point out that Christ as the door not only brings us into God’s flock but also provides continual access to God’s provision. Psalm 23:2-3 reflects this provision, describing how the Shepherd leads us to green pastures and restores our soul.
Hebrews 10:19-20 reveals that through Christ’s flesh, we have a new and living way to enter the presence of God. This access is both a privilege and a responsibility to enjoy His riches and live in His presence.
Thought of the day/Main points – Christ as the door is the way to salvation and spiritual nourishment.
– He leads us to green pastures, restoring our souls.
– Through Him, we have access to the Father and His provision.
Prayer Confessions:
Lord, thank You for being the door to salvation and rest for my soul.
Lead me daily to the green pastures of Your presence and provision.
Teach me to enjoy my access to the Father through You, Amen.
