Matthew 9:6, “But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
📖 Devotional Message
The Reflection: Christ’s ministry addresses the totality of human need. He links the “forgiveness of sins” (the internal, spiritual need) with “healing” (the external, physical or emotional need). To “arise and walk” is the outward proof of an inward transformation. Often, our spiritual “paralysis” is caused by the weight of unresolved guilt or sin. When Christ speaks forgiveness, He also releases the strength for us to move forward. He doesn’t just clear our record; He restores our ability to walk in His ways.
Practical Application: Where do you feel “stuck” or paralyzed? Ask the Lord for a fresh word of forgiveness and then, by faith, take a “step” toward the action you’ve been avoiding.
LUGANDA:
Okufumiitiriza: Obuweereza bwa Kristo bukwata ku bwetaavu bw’omuntu bwonna.
