2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
Abiding in the anointing also brings us into the reality of the new creation. As believers in Christ, we have been made new, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit works to continually bring forth the reality of this new creation in us. Through the anointing, we experience the transformation of our old nature into a new nature, created after God’s image in righteousness and holiness.
The anointing empowers us to live out the reality of the new creation. As we abide in the anointing, we are continually conformed to the image of Christ. This process of transformation is not a one-time event but a continual work of the Spirit. The more we remain in the anointing, the more we become the expression of Christ in the world.
As the new creation, we are no longer bound by our past or the power of sin. We have been made free in Christ, and the anointing is the power that enables us to live according to this new reality. By abiding in the anointing, we can experience the full reality of our identity in Christ as new creations.
