Devotional 4: Living in Resurrection Life

Resurrection life is the life of Christ Himself. In John 11:25, Jesus declares, “I am the resurrection and the life.” This statement reveals that resurrection is not merely an event but a person—Christ. When we receive Christ, we receive His resurrection life. This life is powerful, overcoming death and enabling us to live in newness of life.

As we teach we explain that resurrection life is the expression of Christ’s victory over all obstacles, including sin, death, and the flesh. It is a life that is not bound by natural limitations but is full of divine energy and vitality. As believers, we are called to live in this resurrection life daily by walking in the Spirit and putting to death the deeds of the body.

Living in resurrection life transforms our daily experiences. It enables us to overcome sin, endure trials, and bear fruit for God’s glory. This life is also the basis for building the church, as it brings the members of the Body into the reality of oneness and growth in Christ.
