Divine Righteousness

2 Corinthians 5:21, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

📖 Devotional Message

There is a profound exchange at the heart of the Gospel. Christ took our “sin-nature” upon Himself so that we could take on His “righteousness-nature.” This isn’t just about doing right things; it is about becoming the righteousness of God “in Him.” We are clothed in a standing that is as perfect as Christ’s own. This allows us to approach God without fear or shadow. Our righteousness is not a fragile human achievement but an unbreakable divine gift.

Practical Application: When you feel “unrighteous” or unworthy today, declare: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” Base your confidence on His finished work, not your own performance.

LUGANDA:

Waliwo okuwanyisiganya okw’amaanyi ku mutima gw’Enjiri. Kristo yatwala “obutonde bwaffe obw’ekibi” ku Ye tusobole okwetwalira “obutonde bwe obw’obutuukirivu.” Kino si kukola bintu bituufu byokka; kikwata ku kufuuka obutuukirivu bwa Katonda “mu Ye.” Twambadde ennyiriri ezituukiridde ng’eya Kristo. Kino kitusobozesa okutuukirira Katonda awatali kutya wadde ekisiikirize. Obutuukirivu bwaffe si buwanguzi bwa muntu bunafu wabula kirabo kya Katonda ekitamenyeka.

Okukozesa mu nkola: Bw’owulira nga “toli mutuukirivu” oba nga tosaanira leero, langirira nti: “Nze butuukirivu bwa Katonda mu Kristo.” Okwesiga kwo kwesigamiziddwa ku mulimu gwe oguwedde, so si ku nkola yo.
