Luke 5:31, “They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
📖 Devotional Message
The Reflection: Our greatest qualification for God’s grace is our “sickness”—our need. Those who think they are “whole” or “righteous” by their own effort create a barrier that the Great Physician cannot cross. But when we acknowledge our sin and our inability, we become the primary objects of His care. Christ didn’t come to start a religion for the perfect; He came to open a hospital for the broken. Repentance is simply checking into His care and admitting we need His healing life.
Practical Application: Be honest with God about a specific “symptom” in your life today (anger, pride, fear). Don’t try to hide it; present it to the Physician for treatment.
LUGANDA:
Okufumiitiriza: Ebisaanyizo byaffe ebisinga obunene eby’ekisa kya Katonda bwe “bulwadde” bwaffe —obwetaavu bwaffe. Naye bwe tukkiriza ekibi kyaffe n’obutasobola bwaffe, tufuuka ebintu ebikulu eby’okulabirira kwe. Kristo teyajja kutandikawo ddiini ya batuukiridde; Yazze okuggulawo eddwaaliro eri abamenyese. Okwenenya kwe kukebera kwokka mu kulabirirwa kwe n’okukkiriza nti twetaaga obulamu bwe obw’okuwonya.
