Devotional 276: Noah’s Obedience

Genesis 6:22; Hebrews 11:7; John 14:15; James 1:22

“Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.” Noah’s obedience was complete. By faith, he prepared the ark and became an heir of righteousness.

Experiencing Christ Commentary teaches that true faith is expressed in obedience. Noah did not argue or delay but carried out God’s word precisely. 

His obedience condemned the world and testified of righteousness. This shows us that salvation is not only by grace but is worked out in the obedience of faith.
