Devotional 190: The Anointing and the Kingdom of God

The kingdom of God is a realm of life, characterized by righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. The anointing of the Spirit brings us into the experience of this kingdom, enabling us to live according to its principles and reality.

Righteousness is living rightly before God and man, peace is the inward calm that comes from harmony with God, and joy is the overflowing delight in the Spirit. Abiding in the anointing allows us to express the kingdom of God in our daily lives, making it a visible reality to those around us.

The Spirit’s anointing not only transforms us personally but also brings us into a corporate expression of the kingdom, where the Body of Christ becomes a testimony of God’s reign on earth.

– Righteousness, Peace, and Joy: These are the hallmarks of the kingdom life.
