Devotional 51: Experiencing the All-Inclusive Christ as Our Good Land

In the Old Testament, the good land typifies Christ as the all-inclusive One for our full enjoyment. Deuteronomy 8:7-9 describes this land as rich with streams, fruits, and resources, illustrating the unsearchable riches of Christ.

Colossians 2:6-7 encourages us to walk in Christ, who is the fulfillment of the good land. To experience Him, we must be rooted in Him, built up in Him, and established in faith. This rooting corresponds to our deep union with Christ, allowing His life to flow in and through us.

The all-inclusive Christ meets every need of our Christian life. As wheat, He is our life supply. As oil, He is the Spirit who anoints us. As honey, He is the sweetness of our experience. To possess and enjoy Him fully, we need to daily turn to Him, walk in Him, and abide in Him.
