Devotional 132: The Spirit as the Reality of Grace

Grace is often misunderstood as merely a concept or a benefit. In reality, grace is the Spirit of Christ Himself as our supply and enjoyment.

When we experience the Spirit, we touch the reality of grace. The Spirit as the reality of grace operates in us to strengthen, sustain, and guide us.

In the church life, the Spirit flows as the reality of grace among the members of the Body, knitting them together in love and building them up. As we enjoy the Spirit in our daily living, we also become channels through which this grace flows to others.

To experience the Spirit as the reality of grace, we must:
1.Open to the Lord in prayer, allowing Him to fill us.
2.Exercise our spirit to walk according to the Spirit.
3.Enjoy fellowship in the Body, where grace flows abundantly.

Main Points:
– Grace is a Person: It is Christ in the Spirit for our daily enjoyment.
– The Spirit in the Body: Grace flows among the members for mutual edification.
– Living in Grace: Our Christian life is sustained by the Spirit as grace.

Prayer Confessions:
Lord, reveal Yourself as the reality of grace in my life.
May the Spirit flow freely among the members of the Body.
Teach me to live in the enjoyment of grace daily, Amen.
