John 14:16-17;
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [17] even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
John 16:13-15;
[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. [14] He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. [15] All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
Christ promised His disciples that He would send the Spirit of reality to abide with them forever (John 14:16-17). The Spirit is the reality of Christ, making all that Christ is and has accomplished real to us.
As the Spirit of reality, He guides us into all the truth and reveals the depths of Christ (John 16:13-15).
Experiencing the Spirit as the reality of Christ is essential for our daily Christian life.
When we turn to the Spirit, we experience Christ as our life, peace, joy, and strength. The Spirit transforms us into His image, enabling us to express Him in our living.
Main Points:
– The Spirit of reality reveals Christ and all His riches to us.
– The Spirit makes Christ real in our experience.
– Turning to the Spirit daily allows us to live in the reality of Christ.
Prayer Confessions:
Lord, thank You for sending the Spirit as the reality of Christ.
Guide us into all truth and reveal more of Christ to us.
Transform us by the Spirit to express You in our living.
Help us to experience Christ daily as our life and reality.
May Your Spirit lead us deeper into the riches of Christ, Amen.
