Devotional 102: The Good Land—A Land of Fellowship with God

The good land, in its fullness, is not just a place for physical blessing, but a place of deep, abiding fellowship with God. In Exodus 33:14, God promised His presence would go with the Israelites, granting them rest. This rest was not just the absence of conflict but the presence of God Himself, dwelling in intimate fellowship with His people.

As believers, the good land represents the experience of God’s fellowship with us. In Christ, we have been brought into the richest fellowship, where our hearts are one with God. We enjoy this fellowship not only through prayer but also in the daily experiences of life.

Fellowship with God is the privilege of every believer who has entered into Christ as their reality.

Thought of the day/Main Points:
– The good land symbolizes deep fellowship with God, where His presence fills our lives.
– Fellowship with God is the greatest blessing, enjoyed in both quiet and active moments of life.
– Christ is the means through which we enter into fellowship with the Father.

Prayer Confessions:
Lord, thank You for calling us into a rich fellowship with You.
We desire to experience the fellowship of Your presence in our daily lives.
Help us to remain in constant communion with You, enjoying Your nearness.
Open our hearts to understand the depth of fellowship You have prepared for us in Christ.
May our daily lives reflect the rest and peace that come from Your presence in the good land, Amen.
