The Spirit of Wisdom

Ephesians 1:17, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ… may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him

đź“– Devotional Message

The Reflection:

We cannot know God through our natural intellect alone. We need a “spirit of wisdom and revelation.” Wisdom is for our intuition—to know the reality of God; revelation is for our vision—to see His purpose. This knowledge is “subjective”—it is a deep, personal knowing of Him, not just facts about Him. When our spirit is enlightened, the Bible becomes a living book and our path in life becomes clear.

Practical Application:

As you go about your day, pray this simple prayer: “Lord, give me a spirit of wisdom today to see You in my circumstances and to know Your heart.”

LUGANDA:

Eky’okufumiitiriza:

Tetusobola kumanya Katonda nga tuyita mu magezi gaffe ag’obutonde gokka. Twetaaga “omwoyo ogw’amagezi n’okubikkulirwa.” Amagezi ga kutegeera kwaffe —okumanya obutuufu bwa Katonda; okubikkulirwa kwa kwolesebwa kwaffe — okulaba ekigendererwa kye. Okumanya kuno “kukwata ku muntu” — kwe kumumanya okw’amaanyi, okw’obuntu, so si nsonga zokka ezimukwatako. Omwoyo gwaffe bwe gutangaala, Baibuli efuuka ekitabo ekiramu era ekkubo lyaffe mu bulamu ne litegeerekeka bulungi.

Okukozesa mu nkola:

Nga bw’ogenda mu maaso n’olunaku lwo, saba essaala eno ennyangu: “Mukama, mpa omwoyo gw’amagezi leero okukulaba mu mbeera zange n’okumanya omutima gwo.”
