Let Christ Live in You

Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

📖 Devotional Message

The Reflection:

The purpose of the cross is not merely to terminate the old; it is to make room for Christ to be expressed as our life. Paul immediately follows “I am crucified with Christ” with the wonderful declaration, “yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” This is the mystery and beauty of the Christian experience: God does not merely give us instructions to imitate Christ from the outside; He gives us Christ as an indwelling life.

The Spirit brings the reality of Christ into our human spirit so that Christ may increasingly become our inward source, our strength, our love, our patience, our wisdom, and our response to every situation. The more we turn from self-dependence to the indwelling Lord, the more His life has opportunity to be expressed through us

Practical Application:
Throughout the day, practice turning inwardly to Christ rather than immediately reacting according to yourself. Before speaking, deciding, responding, or acting, pause and say, “Lord Jesus, live Yourself through me in this matter.”
