Devotional 245: The Judgment and the Promise of Redemption

Genesis 3:14–15; Romans 16:20; Galatians 4:4–5; Revelation 12:11

God judged the serpent, declaring enmity between his seed and the woman’s Seed. The Seed of the woman would bruise the serpent’s head, though the serpent would bruise His heel. This is the first gospel, the protoevangelium—the promise of Christ’s victory over Satan.
