Isaiah 60:19, “The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.”
📖 Devotional Message
The world defines “glory” as outward success, reputation, or visible brilliance. But for the believer, “your God will be your glory.” This means that our true worth and the “shine” of our lives come from our expression of Him. As we allow God to saturate our being, His nature begins to manifest through us. This is a glory that does not fade with age or change with the economy. It is the radiant expression of the divine life being lived out through a human vessel.
Practical Application: Shift your focus from seeking approval or “glory” from people today. Instead, find your satisfaction in being a container that expresses God’s character in your interactions with others.
