Devotional 206: Abiding in the Anointing – The Manifestation of Christ’s Life

The anointing in us is the very presence of Christ, who is our hope of glory. When we abide in the anointing, Christ is manifested in us. This is the ultimate purpose of the anointing: to make Christ real to us and to others. Through the anointing, Christ becomes more than just a doctrine or a concept; He becomes a living reality in our daily lives.

Christ in us is the hope of glory, and as we abide in Him through the anointing, that glory is gradually manifested. This manifestation of Christ’s life in us is not just for us, but for the building up of the Body of Christ. As we grow in the anointing, we become more like Christ, and His glory is revealed in and through us.

The anointing enables us to live out the reality of Christ’s life. It empowers us to reflect His character, speak His words, and do His works. As we remain in the anointing, we become a living testimony to the world of the transforming power of Christ.

Main Points:

  • Christ in Us: The anointing brings Christ into us as the hope of glory.
  • Manifestation of Christ: As we abide in the anointing, Christ’s life is manifested in us.
  • For the Building of the Body: The manifestation of Christ’s life in us is for the building up of the Body of Christ.
  • Living Testimony: Abiding in the anointing causes us to reflect Christ’s character and do His works.

Reflection/Activity:

Take some time to reflect on how Christ is being manifested in your life. In what areas can you reflect Christ more clearly? Pray for the anointing to work in you, bringing Christ’s life and glory to the surface in all that you do

Prayer Points:

Lord, thank You for the anointing that brings Christ into my life.

I pray that Christ would be more fully manifested in me as I abide in the anointing.

Lord, may Your glory be revealed through my life, for the building up of the Body of Christ.

I ask that You empower me to live out the reality of Christ’s life in my daily living.

May my life be a testimony of Your transforming power to those around me, Amen.
