Galatians 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”
The anointing of the Holy Spirit helps us to realize and experience our true identity in Christ. Before we knew Christ, we were defined by our old life, our failures, and our natural being. But in Christ, we are made new, and we now live by the life of Christ.
The anointing brings this reality to us in an experiential way. It helps us to see that our old man has been crucified, and Christ now lives within us, empowering us to live a victorious life. This identity is not something we can accomplish in our own strength but is the result of the Spirit’s anointing.
As we abide in the anointing, we continually live out our identity in Christ, understanding that it is no longer “I” who live but Christ who lives in me. This understanding transforms the way we live, act, and relate to the world.

Lord, thank You for the anointing that makes my identity in Christ real to me.
Help me to live by the life of Christ that is within me, not by my old self.
Teach me to live victoriously, fully experiencing my new identity in You.
May Your anointing continue to reveal and empower me to live out Christ’s life.
