Ephesians 2:14 “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one and has broken down the middle wall of partition.”
Christ Himself is our peace, having reconciled us to God and to one another. On the cross, He broke down all barriers and abolished the enmity between Jew and Gentile, making them one Body in Himself. This same peace is available to us today to reconcile relationships and build up the church.
Peace is not merely a concept but a person—Christ. When we live in Him, we experience true peace that transcends circumstances. This peace enables us to live in harmony with others, even in the midst of differences.
The peace of Christ is essential for the building of the church. Without peace, the Body cannot grow or function properly. Therefore, we must let Christ’s peace rule in our hearts, allowing Him to govern our thoughts, emotions, and actions.
Main points:
– Christ as Peace: He reconciles us to God and one another.
– Living in Peace: Peace is experienced by living in Christ.
– Peace and Building: The church is built up through Christ’s peace.
– Ruling Peace: Let Christ’s peace govern your heart and relationships.
