Ephesians 2:14-18; KJV
[14] For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; [15] having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; [16] and that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: [17] and came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. [18] For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
John 14:27; KJV
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Colossians 3:15, KJV
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Ephesians 2:14 declares, “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one.” Christ’s death on the cross not only reconciles us to God but also breaks down the barriers that separate us from one another.
In John 14:27, the Lord promises, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you.” This peace is not as the world gives—it is an inward peace that comes from His presence within us.
Colossians 3:15 exhorts us to let the peace of Christ arbitrate in our hearts. This peace is the result of being reconciled to God and living in harmony with His will. As we abide in Christ, His peace rules over our thoughts, decisions, and relationships.
