2 Corinthians 9:8; KJV
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
1 Corinthians 15:10; TPT
But God’s amazing grace has made me who I am! And his grace to me was not fruitless. In fact, I worked harder than all the rest, yet not in my own strength but God’s, for his empowering grace is poured out upon me.
John 15:5, KJV
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
2 Corinthians 9:8 assures us that “God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.” Grace is God’s enabling power that supplies us with everything we need for daily living.
As we teach, we emphasize that the secret of victorious Christian living lies in abiding in Christ (John 15:5). Apart from Him, we can do nothing. Grace flows from our union with Christ, enabling us to live a life that pleases God and fulfills His purpose.
Paul’s testimony in 1 Corinthians 15:10 highlights the transforming power of grace: “By the grace of God I am what I am.” This grace not only saves but also sustains, strengthens, and empowers us to serve God faithfully.
Thought of the day/Main points – Grace is God’s sufficiency for every need and situation.
– Abiding in Christ is the key to experiencing His grace.
– Grace empowers us to live victoriously and serve faithfully.
