Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
đź“– Devotional Message
The Reflection:Â
Human peace depends on favorable circumstances, but the “peace of God” is superior to human logic. It “passes understanding” because it exists even when things are going wrong. This peace acts as a “guard” or a “sentinel” for our hearts and minds, protecting us from the intrusion of anxiety and fear. It is the peace that Christ Himself walked in during His earthly trials. By letting this peace rule, we remain steady and composed in the midst of any storm.
Practical Application:Â
If an anxious thought enters your mind today, don’t try to “reason” it away. Instead, hand the situation to God in prayer and ask His peace to stand guard over your mind.
LUGANDA:
Okufumiitiriza:
Emirembe gy’omuntu gisinziira ku mbeera ennungi, naye “emirembe gya Katonda” gisukkulumye ku nsonga z’omuntu. “Okusukkuluma mu kutegeera” kubanga gibeerawo ne bwe kiba nti ebintu bitambula bubi. Emirembe gino gikola nga “omukuumi” oba “obukuumi” eri emitima gyaffe n’ebirowoozo byaffe, nga gitukuuma obutayingirirwa kweraliikirira n’okutya. Gye mirembe Kristo yennyini gye yatambuliramu mu biseera bye eby’okugezesebwa ku nsi. Bwe tuleka emirembe gino okufuga, tusigala nga tuli banywevu era nga tuteredde wakati mu kibuyaga yenna.Â
Kino Kiteeke mu nkola:
Singa ekirowoozo ekikweraliikiriza kiyingira mu birowoozo byo leero, togezaako “kulowooza” kukiggyawo. Wabula embeera giwe Katonda mu kusaba era osabe emirembe gye giyimirire nga obukuumi ku birowoozo byo.
