John 7:37–38 “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes into Me, as the Scripture said, out of his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.”
Christ is the Living Water, the source of life that quenches our deepest thirst and causes rivers of living water to flow from within us. This water is the Spirit, given to us to satisfy, supply, and overflow.
When we drink of Christ as the Living Water, we are filled with His life, and that life flows out to refresh others. This overflow is not just for ourselves but for the building of the Body of Christ and the spread of His kingdom.
The key to experiencing Christ as the Living Water is coming to Him. We come by turning our hearts to Him, opening our mouths to call on His name, and receiving Him through prayer and His Word. As we drink, we are not only satisfied but also made a channel of life to others.
