2 Peter 3:18; KJV
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Ephesians 4:15; KJV
but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
1 Timothy 4:15, TPT
Make all of this your constant meditation and make it real with your life so everyone can see that you are moving forward.
Spiritual growth is a continual process of growing in grace and the knowledge of Christ. 2 Peter 3:18 exhorts us to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” Growth in grace involves experiencing Christ as our life supply and allowing Him to increase within us.
Growing in knowledge is not merely intellectual but experiential. Ephesians 4:15 describes growth as speaking the truth in love and growing up into Christ in all things. This growth results in maturity and fruitfulness in our Christian walk.
Paul’s exhortation in 1 Timothy 4:15 to “practice these things; be in them, that your progress may be manifest to all” shows that growth requires diligence, focus, and a heart open to the Lord’s working.
