John 11:25; KJV
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Romans 8:10-11; TPT
[10] Now Christ lives his life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, his life-giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God. [11] Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, he will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you!
Colossians 3:4, MSG
When Christ (your real life, remember) shows up again on this earth, you’ll show up, too—the real you, the glorious you. Meanwhile, be content with obscurity, like Christ.
Jesus declared in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life.” This statement reveals that resurrection is not just an event but a person—Christ Himself. As the resurrection life, Christ imparts His divine, indestructible life to believers, overcoming death in every form.
Romans 8:11 assures us that the Spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells in us, giving life to our mortal bodies. This resurrection life enables us to live victoriously, even in the face of difficulties, and empowers us to grow spiritually. In our teachings, we explain that Christ as our resurrection life is both subjective and practical, enabling us to live a life that glorifies God.
When we experience Christ as the resurrection life, we are strengthened inwardly, transformed in our soul, and prepared for the ultimate resurrection at His coming. This life is our present reality and future hope.
