Devotional 112: The Good Land—The Inheritance of the Twelve Tribes

The good land was divided among the twelve tribes of Israel, showing that every believer has a unique portion of Christ as their inheritance. Ephesians 1:11 declares that we have obtained an inheritance in Christ, and Colossians 1:12 speaks of giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the portion of the saints.

Each tribe received a specific portion of the land, signifying that every believer has a unique experience of Christ to enjoy and express. Together, the tribes’ portions make up the fullness of the good land.

In the Body of Christ, we are called to enjoy our portion while also appreciating and benefiting from others’ portions.
