John 1:16; KJV
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
2 Corinthians 12:9; KJV
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Ephesians 2:8-9, TPT
For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ! [9] So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.
From Christ’s fullness, we have all received “grace upon grace” (John 1:16). This abundance of grace signifies God’s unmerited favor that meets our every need.
In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord declares, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Grace is not only the foundation of our salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9) but also the enabling power for daily living.
As we depend on God’s grace, we experience His strength in our weaknesses, His provision in our lack, and His forgiveness in our failures. Living in grace means continually drawing from Christ’s inexhaustible supply, allowing Him to work in and through us.
Thoughts of the day/Main Points:
– God’s grace is abundant and sufficient for every aspect of life.
– Grace empowers us to live victoriously, even in our weaknesses.
– Salvation and daily living are sustained by God’s unmerited favor.
Prayer Confessions:
