John 1:16-17; KJV
[16] And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. [17] For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 12:9; TPT
But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.
Hebrews 4:16, KJV
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
John 1:16 declares, “For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.” Grace is not just unmerited favor; it is the living person of Christ imparted to us for our enjoyment and supply. Under the new covenant, grace replaces the law, enabling us to live in union with God.
Experiencing Christ Teachings describe grace as the Triune God becoming life and everything to us for our experience and enjoyment. 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us that God’s grace is sufficient, especially in weakness. It is in our dependence on Him that His power is made perfect.
Grace also invites us to approach the throne of God boldly, as stated in Hebrews 4:16, where we find mercy and grace to help in time of need. This daily supply of grace enables us to overcome challenges, grow in Christ, and fulfill God’s purpose.
Thought of the day/Main points – Grace is the living person of Christ imparted to us.
– God’s grace is sufficient, especially in our weaknesses.
