Devotional 6: Growing in the Divine Life

Growth in the divine life is central to the Christian experience. 2 Peter 1:3-4 reveals that God has granted us “all things that pertain to life and godliness” and has made us partakers of the divine nature. This divine life is not something we produce; it is imparted to us through Christ.

In our teachings, we emphasize that growing in the divine life requires abiding in Christ as the vine. John 15:5 reminds us that apart from Him, we can do nothing. By remaining connected to Him, we receive His life supply, which transforms us into His image and builds up the Body of Christ.

Growth in life is a gradual process that involves feeding on the Word, fellowshipping with the Lord, and experiencing the inward work of the Spirit. As we grow, we manifest Christ more fully in our living and contribute to the building of His church.
