John 14:6 Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too. MSG. Col.3:3-4 Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God. He is your life. When Christ (your real life, remember) shows up again on this earth, you’ll show up, too—the real you, the glorious you. Meanwhile, be content with obscurity, like Christ.
Christ is not only the Savior but the very life that transforms and sustains us. His life is the essence of God’s eternal purpose, and His desire is to work Himself into us as our constitution. The more we experience Him as life, the more He becomes the reality of our being, and we are built together as His dwelling place.
